9 issues claim a parent they do not have — 4 are a grandparent holding a grandchild #15444

Description

@mrveiss

A child may have exactly one parent. Nine issues name a parent in their body that differs from the one GitHub holds.

Four are structural, not ambiguous — the claimed parent already sits under the current holder, so the child is attached one level too high:

#10203, #10201, #10200   move from #9930 to #10193   (#10193 sits under #9930)
#13421                   move from #13707 to #13250  (#13250 sits under #13707)

Five need a decision — each is claimed by an issue with no children of its own. They resolve the same way only if those claimants should become intermediate umbrellas: #13420 and #13414 (claimed by #13227), #13416 (#13250), #13415 (#13251), #13421 (#13413).

A parent may itself be a child; depth is wanted. Only 5 parents are nested today and 630 of 650 links are depth 1.

Acceptance criteria

  • The 4 re-parentings applied
  • The 5 claimants either become intermediate umbrellas or the body text is corrected
