Current Behavior

While using Monkeytype, the text appears doubled, with each character being repeated twice. For instance, the word "same" is rendered as "ssaammee". This issue occurs during normal typing sessions and affects the readability and accuracy of the test.

Expected Behavior

Text should render normally without character duplication.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Open [Monkeytype](https://monkeytype.com/).
2. Log in to account.
3. Select any test mode (e.g., time, words, or custom).
4. Start typing.
5. Observe the text being displayed with each letter doubled.

Environment

• OS: Arch Linux
• Browser: Firefox
• Browser Version: 135.0 (64-bit)

Anything else?

• The issue was observed on the Monkeytype version v25.7.0.
• The issue occurs only when logged in; when logged out, the text renders normally.
