This fixes a segfault introduced when addressing TOOLS-2722 (PR #551). It also makes a
ShouldAskForPassword()check tolerate nil Auth.It was considered to add tolerance of nil SSL, but there are places in the options normalization that set values of the SSL struct, and it’s unclear whether it’s safe to alter a nil SSL struct in order to set those values.
