"Permissions Not Found"? Let's Figure It Out!

Sometimes, when you're using the NG Extension Manager, you might see a message that says "Permissions not found for this extension." Don't worry, it's not always a bad thing!

What Does It Mean?

  • Super Simple Extensions!

    • Some extensions are like simple toys – they don't need any special rules to play! That means they don't need any special permissions. If you see the message and the extension works, it's probably okay.
  • Maybe a Little Mix-Up?

    • Sometimes, there might be a little mix-up with the extension's information. This can happen with Chrome, the NG Extension Manager, or the extension itself.

Is It a Problem?

  • Not always! This message doesn't always mean something is broken.

What Can You Do?

  1. Don't Worry!

    • If the extension is working just fine, you don't need to do anything!
  2. Check If It Works!

    • If the extension isn't working right, then this message might be telling you something.
  3. Get the Newest Version!

    • Make sure Chrome, the NG Extension Manager, and the extension are all up-to-date.
  4. Try Again!

    • If the extension is acting weird, try uninstalling it and then installing it again.
  5. Ask for Help!

    • If you're still having trouble, contact the NG Extension Manager support team.
