What does this PR do and why?
This PR will mark MST as v7. We've had version
7.0.0-pre.2out for a few months now, and the breaking changes here should be pretty straightforward for migrations.I'll merge this, tag the commit, and publish to npm shortly. Then we'll put together a release post along with migration steps as necessary.
