Allow gestures/controls in non-mobile platforms

Hi! Thanks for this plugin, I'm using it in [Tubo](http://github.com/migalmoreno/tubo) and it works great. Would it be within the scope of the project to allow gestures/controls outside of mobile UI platforms? Namely being able to seek forwards/rewind by double-clicking  on each side.
