Summary

  • Updated MCP documentation to clarify that MCP servers now work with sites using partial authentication
  • Public pages on authenticated sites are searchable through MCP, while fully authenticated sites without public pages cannot generate an MCP server

Note

Low Risk
Low risk documentation-only change that clarifies MCP server availability and indexing behavior for authenticated sites with public pages.

Overview
Updates the MCP docs to clarify that MCP servers work with partially authenticated sites: only pages marked public are searchable, and fully private (no public pages) sites cannot generate an MCP server. Replaces the previous wording that implied MCP required entirely public documentation.
