Hm - I'm torn on this.

On the one hand, it would mean there is at least documentation for V3 that does exist in CE.

Oh the other hand, those docs were pulled for a reason - the V3 metrics list as-is might not be useful/helpful to users who depend on them for operational monitoring.

Granted right now CE is fully self-support only, but I do want to avoid leading people down bad paths wherever possible.

@georgmangold my suggestion is to also modify the page these get included on in monitoring, and add a simple admonition:

.. important::

   The V3 metrics on this page may have gaps, inaccuracies, or incorrect information.
   Reference the `minio/minio <https://github.com/minio/minio>` repository and review the source code for the most accurate representation of metrics as available.

That would at least give people the right understanding going into it.

As far as I understand it (minio/minio#21678 (comment)), it has conflicting information with the AIstor version, that's what the hosted AIstor documentation is for, not with the open source community edition itself.

I can add the admonition to this metric page if you like, but think it should be on whole documentation or already is with this repo, as its likely to get outdated if its not actively maintained.

Users who depend on it for monitoring still need it as reference.

Hm - we can look into adding a header about the maintenance status, but that would be work to schedule later.

For this issue, if you'd be so kind as to add the admonition I'll merge this in.
