Disable tray icon entirely?

We have --tray wich hides the window but... it has a tray icon wich i don't really want

I don't believe it is possible to do that.

it is possible, if you know how to code in C++ .. just find the method that creates the tray icon then perhaps remove it, then recompile/rebuild the code..
