No Domain field in SMB::Client->new

Trying to use SMB::Client always pushes "MYGROUP" as the domain. Cannot authenticate against domain computers as it always fails.

Tried using user@domain for username but this still does not work.

Did you try to add domain option?

Sorry for delay I put this project on hold for a bit. Getting back to it. I did add a the domain option. It does not appear to be recognized in Windows.

My code:

It appears that this issue may only be with newer windows versions. It tested OK on Windows 2012 R2, but the failure above is from my Windows 10 1909 machine.

Correction, this is still not working on Windows 2012 R2. Here is a wireshark showing it still is inserting MYGROUP as the domain.

I believe I corrected the issue. Please see attached patch for Client.pm to resolve this issue and validate/implement as necessary. Thanks.

I had this issue, and this patch fixed the problem. However it did not apply as-is, even by hand the offsets were off. Attached is a context-diff against what was installed by CPAN, that I tested and working.
