Can't open projects from project generator in VS.Net 2013 Ultimate Update 4

Whenever I run the project generator, either winrt or regular one, the solutions and project files get built fine. When you change the default directory of where to create the project the following occurrs:

When I try to open the solution I get a this prompt:

When I click Ok the projects try to load and get converted but unsuccessfully:

And eventually this is what I get in VS.Net solution explorer:

I am also having this same problem, any help would be appreciated.
