Please add also some integration tests.
For example scenarios for 2 projects: cobertura cobertura -> merged into 1
For example scenarios for 4 projects: cobertura cobertura coverage coverage -> merged into 2 reports
You can put those tests here: test\Microsoft.TestPlatform.AcceptanceTests\TranslationLayerTests\CodeCoverageTests.cs
this will require probably taking some logic from our repo regarding validating of cobertura files
