The GitHub Pull Request extension is now using the GitHub authentication provider. The provider has been rewritten to use the GitHub authentication server instead of directly hitting github.com.
Using the nightly version of the extension (https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=GitHub.vscode-pull-request-github-insiders), make sure that you are able to log in as before.
