Unclear that thinking did not make changes

"Applying changes to listeners" is just thinking, but it makes it seem as though it might have changed something.

Also the fact that it can use tools like Read inside the thinking, makes me wonder if it could use other tools as well and actually make changes. It makes me feel the need to expand the thinking just to make sure it didn't do something that I can't see.

yeah, i recently changed it from a chevron to the checkmark, but am considering changing it back for when there is content.

what was actually inside the thinking there? often the model may try to do an apply patch, fail, then do some more reads and tool calls before moving on

It just did a Read call -- nothing else as far as I could tell -- but it did make me wonder as I previously thought thinking was always just text
