All dev container samples fail to run from Windows with Ubuntu 22.04 WSL

• VSCode Version: 1.103.0-insider
• Local OS Version: Windows 11
• Remote OS Version: Ubuntu 22.04
• Remote Extension/Connection Type: Dev Containers
• Logs:

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Start Docker Desktop
2. Run the Go sample container
3. 🐛 Container fails to build

The error that seems to stop everything is "docker: Error response from daemon: \wsl.localhost\Ubuntu-22.04\mnt\wslg\runtime-dir\wayland-0%!(EXTRA string=is not a valid Windows path)."

I was initially encountering issues with any attempt to Reopen in Container from WSL (not just with the dev container samples).

I was stuck spinning here:

And eventually timed out:

I did have Use the WSL 2 based engine checked in my Docker settings:

But I found that my specific distro wasn't checked off:

I checked off the above ^ and restarted Docker and VS Code, and connecting to a dev container while in WSL for this project now works for me:

• Use command WSL: Connect to WSL Using Distro... and select my Ubuntu 22.04 distro
• Once connected to Ubuntu 22.04, use Dev Containers: Reopen in Container

I'm trying to repro your issue @rzhao271. Here are the steps I took:

• Use command WSL: Connect to WSL Using Distro... and select my Ubuntu 22.04 distro
• Once connected to Ubuntu 22.04, use Dev Containers: Try a Dev Container Sample...
• Select Go
• This works for me, but it potentially sounds different than your setup? (so I want to make sure I follow the same steps)
