Use getByLabel(...)

Hello,

I tried the Playwright mpc server with Claude and it is very impressive.
One thing I notices is the fact that very often the fill(...) method is used with a selector.
It would be nice when the getByLabel(...) would be used to resolve elements as this works better and also is adviced by Playwright?

Is this possible?

Do you mean when Claude emits the code? It sounds like you are just asking Claude to generate some code and it does its best. You need to perform actions via Playwright MCP so that it could tell how to best name the elements. We always prioritize accessible locators and Claude should pick it up.

@pavelfeldman It looks like I was comparing https://github.com/executeautomation/mcp-playwright with your implementation with the assumption https://github.com/executeautomation/mcp-playwright was some kind of fork of your repo. But, it looks like your implementation is kind of/very different and yours seems to use findByRole/findByLabel as the first strategy. "executeautomation" doesn't seem to use this strategy and that's why I created the issue.
