Make Alt Key "Sticky" for Menu Commands

If I recall correctly, the old original MS-DOS Edit program allowed menu shortcuts via Pressing Alt (and releasing) then pressing the shortcut key.

To save a document in old school Edit, you could open the File menu via Alt (and release), then F, the S.

In this modern Edit offering, which is great btw, you have to hold the alt while pressing F, then release then onto S (as in the previous example).

Minor gripe, but some shortcuts are wired into my brain's ROM, and I find editing flow interrupted, while I remember you have to HOLD the Alt key.
