Welcome to the Protocol Test Framework v1.0 (Build 1.0.6500.0) Beta release!

This release provides support for the following feature:

• Shell adapter - you can now select the Shell adapter in Protocol Test Manager and remotely control the status of SUT computers through shell scripting.

This release deprecates the following feature:

• Script adapter - if you use the Script adapter in Protocol Test Manager, you are advised to switch to the PowerShell adapter instead.

Protocol Test Framework 1.0 (Build 1.0.6000.0)

Welcome to the September 2018 release of Protocol Test Framework, version 1.0.6000.0. This release addresses the following issues and requests:

• Upgraded to Visual Studio 2017 and .NET Framework v4.7.1.
• HTML test logger can now handle output <= 32 megabytes.
• All test suites now use the same installer; As a result, Spec Explorer is always required.

Welcome to the June 2017 release of Protocol Test Framework, version 1.0.5500.0. This release addresses the following issues and requests:

• Added support for the customization of ptfconfig files (Issue #96 ).
• Added support for RPCE calls on 64-bit Windows.
• Added logic to check if Visual Studio 2012 (or later) is installed before installing PTF.
• Updated the User Guide to fix contributor-reported typos (Pull Request #20).
