Rethink how we handle shortcut guide 0.41 change of behavior for Winkey

Description of the new feature / enhancement

Based on a feedback, we may need to revisit this. We did the shift since it was closer to being inline with the concept for Shortcut guide v2 in issue #890 but the feedback here make make us rethink that entire plan

Feedback trends:

• We like press and hold. It lets me go from Holding Key
• Win+? is great but the underlying Win+Shift+/ doesn't internationalize well

When using shortcut guide in current form

• Customizable shortcut for Shortcut Guide doesn't make sense #11894 has great user feedback.
• Caused issues with 0.41 or later for Windows Shortcut hotmap key + suggestions #11928 discusses international keyboards

Shortcut guide removed support for long Win press to activate. Now supports Win + ? by default

You just remove the support? You couldn't just change the default option but still leave it as optional long press?

I prefer the longpress over any strange key kombination that you can't even remember.
Especially nice if you forgot your key combo you actually wanted to press and then it just pops up and shows everything.

lol, i was highly confused since i went from v.0.34.* straight into v0.41.3 and I raged about the not working "hold winkey to show this screen" removed and reinstalled mutltiple times cause i thought im stupid (the text above the screenshot tells me that the press+hold of the winkey continues to work) until I was forced to look online for the issue and now... it's no issue? It's planned ? It was a great feature, now i have to use 3 instead of 1 key to do a simple screen :( not realy powerfull anymore

It just made sense in terms of workflow: a user holds down the windows key as they attempt to remember the shortcut they wanted, then a guide pops up and finishes their thought for them.

Exactly. You can HOLD the Windows key and press any of the keys that are on the screen to do said function. It just makes more sense

If you don't need to do anything, you just release the Windows key. Now you have to Hold Windows Key + / and then find the key you need, hold the Windows key yet again, and then press a key that is displayed on the screen. Plus, if you want to exit, you have to hit esc. Unnecessarily complicated.
