Nav Chevron points the wrong way

Today, the chevron that hides/shows the dialogs is pointing the wrong way.
When the list is expanded, the the arrow should show that state v
When the list is collapsed, the arrow should point up ^ so that when clicking it, it goes to V and expands the list

Oh and when I start doing things in the canvas or property editor, it closes on its own

@mareekuh could you share more detail on closing on its own ? I could not reproduced.
