Wallpaper not updating

(You can find this out by opening the Galeri menu and looking under the logo.)
v0.0.27

What operating system and version?
Mac Monterey 12.0.1

What did you do?
Startup Galeri as normal on a new MacBook install. Granted access to system events.

What did you expect to happen?
Wallpaper to change and update every 10 minutes.

What actually happened?
Galeri is stuck on initial updating and wallpaper is still default Apple wallpaper.
