Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Connect to a Network Node (TCP/WIFI) under Network Tab
2. Disconnect
3. Send some packets to the node through another device, or allow packets to be rxed, specifically text message packets
4. Reconnect

Actual behavior

No messages arrive, no packets appeared to processed. Nodelist is fine.

Expected behavior

All messages/packets in queue on device are delivered and viewable under messages on reconnect.

Expected behavior in 2.7.5. This appears to be a regression in 2.7.6 open beta 4

1. On reconnect, what “Switched active DB to meshtastic_database_” hash do you see? Is it the same hash as before disconnect?
2. If you switch back and forth once, does the hash stay stable?
3. Does this only happen via wifi connection, or via ble connection as well?
4. Does a clean install (or clearing app data) reproduce immediately with the same steps?

Edit: I am noticing you posted a firmware issue 10 days ago which appears to be the same behavior, are you certain that this wasn't an issue in 2.7.5 and earlier versions of the app? meshtastic/firmware#8507

That other issue as coincidental as it sounds, is unrelated, and was fixed, was specific to meshaticd/Linux native not disconnecting prior client (but causing similar end result). I was thinking either db changes or ble changes may be in connection with this.

Got it - I admittedly only have nrf devices so I will be ordering a board that supports wifi to test. Looking at adding more logging and doing some further digging around the RX collector behavior on the bluetooth and wifi side
