T1000-E freezes on receiving advertisements

Since today, my T1000-E consistently freezes whenever it receives an advertisement.

• Freeze occurs only on receiving advertisements, not on receiving normal messages.
• Happens when an advertisement is sent by a repeater or a client.
• Once frozen LED stops flashing entirely, Device does not respond to button presses, Bluetooth connection drops and cannot be re-established
• Device can only be temporarily recovered by holding the button and connecting the USB cable
• After recovery, I can still use the button of the device to send an advertisement by double pressing.
• Contact list contained 350 contacts.
  • I removed several contacts and disabled auto-add, but the issue persisted.
• App reports device storage as 0% used (0 KB / 100 KB)
• Receiving regular messages does not cause a freeze.
• The device is currently left in the faulty state and has not been reflashed yet.
• I can keep it in this state if further debugging is needed.
• I tried removing a couple of channels that recently received a lot of messages, issue persisted.

Is there any additional information, logs, or tests I can provide to help diagnose this?

this is known issue - from time to time board encouters filesystem corruption caused by incomplete write(most probably caused by low battery) that will cause board to panic on writes(lockup). you can fix it by backing up your config in app settings, doing factory reset and restoring the config.
