@louis030195 the name terminator is already taken on PyPI https://pypi.org/project/terminator/ — so your package must use a different name (e.g. terminator-py or something else).

yeah but it's weird,

you can pip install terminator-py but it will import as import terminator

i DM'd pypi and npm owners to buy their package but they don't answer yet

For the Python package, we can acquire the terminator name for free.
Reference: pypi/support#683 — it was transferred from @HunterLarco to @mattrose.

We just need to submit a PEP 541 request here:
https://github.com/pypa/pypi-support/issues/new?labels=PEP+541&template=pep541-request.yml&title=PEP+541+Request%3A+terminator

PyPI support will take care of the process.

So, terminator is also a python project and has had the name terminator for nearly 20 years now. I'm reluctant to give up the name on pypi.
