Installing a preview build

When a new pull request is made to the project, it automatically generates a build of the plugin that can be installed into Stream Deck for testing.

The list of recently generated builds can be seen directly in GitHub from the Actions tab. Select a build and scroll down to the Artifacts section.

Important

You must be logged into GitHub to be able to download artifacts.

Download and unzip the artifact. It will contain a single file: com.mediabounds.streamdeck.jira.streamDeckPlugin

When you launch it, Stream Deck may confirm that you want to install this plugin from the Internet:

Clicking Install will upgrade the version you installed from the Stream Deck store to this preview version.

For transparency sake: all builds are produced by GitHub so you can see exactly what changed from the last version submitted to Elgato.
