Improve basic HTML syntax learning article

Description

I decided to update the Basic HTML syntax learning area article to improve the wording and make it more friendly to beginners, for example:

• Making some of the examples a bit simpler, and others a bit more explanatory.
• Removing some content that isn't helpful to beginners. For example, mentioning valid XML when talking about closing slashes, and including a discussion on the innerHTML JavaScript property when talking about whitespace. These are way out of scope for the current article and will just confuse beginners. MDN prides itself on its completeness, but a different approach is needed for the Learn area.
• Cutting down on verbiage and simplifying explanations.
• Using modern live sample syntax, which in a couple of cases was used to fix broken rendering.
