Has anybody managed to get this to work with CosmosDB?

I'm trying to use this to connect to CosmosDb which should have a mongo compatible api.

Cannot get the connection string to work, either as a named connectionString in web.config or trying to build it manually

I am also going to use it with cosmosDb, however I have not my subscription ready yet. Hopefully this will work by then. ;)
Is your connection string working e.g. in Robo 3T? It was working for me to connect to cosmosDB. And it's using oficial mongo API, so everything should work.

Turns out that CosmosDB - while advertised as 'connect as mongo or whatever', isn't actually the case. You set the api type when you create the DB, and then it's locked in. Mine is set up as DocumentDB so I can't use this now. However, I've found a couple of DocumentDB compatible alternatives
