Not detected by Chromecast official app

I've just downloaded the app and installed it. No matter what I do, the chromecast app can't recognize it. My local network is fine and I can find the service using fing. Could you help me?

It needs a key to authenticate now. Blame Google. You could maybe try a older version of the chromecast app on a apk mirror but that will just get YouTube and maybe not even that anymore to work because the cast API still wants a key.

They've severelly restricted the application's potencial. I am currently trying other solutions with Raspberry.
