[Bug]: Cannot open version 3.12 on Mac

Describe the bug

Same issue as others, but they’re marked as closed implying that the issue has been resolved.

To reproduce

1. Start application any way you like: from disk image or from Applications folder and double-click, right-click or Cmd-O to open.
