I've created a simple gulp plugin to generate the manifest.json and added it to a gist.

If it would be useful I can publish it on npm, although I would like to use a shorter name than gulp-cordova-app-loader-manifest! Any suggestions?

Hi @SystemParadox ,

There is already a gulp plugin for this here: https://github.com/antonpenev/gulp-cordova-app-loader-manifest.

Could you tell us the advantages of your solution when comparing with it?

Oh, I only wrote one because I couldn't find anything!

There isn't really any advantage to mine, it's basically the same thing.

It would be nice to add something to the README to go alongside the gruntfile example, but maybe it would be better to point to gulp-cordova-app-loader-manifest on npm?
