Unacceptable Connection Parameters

Hello,
I am using calypso with last version of Openplotter in a Raspberri pi 5. I use a USB Dongle for Bluetooth connection TP-Link UB500.
Initially everything works fine, I discover calypso, I suscribe to receive periodical data and start receiving data.
After a few seconds receiving data it stops. I used a program to monitor the bluetooth dialogue called wireshark.
The reason for communication stoppage is claimed to be that the remote device (calypso) broke dialogue due to the reception of "Unnacceptable Connection Parameters" Error code 0x3b
Both devices are very close each other. I would discard the unstability reported in other threads.

Can anyone help on this?

I’m using the Calypso Portable connected to a Raspberry Pi 4 with the same Bluetooth dongle. The anemometer (wind meter) is positioned quite far away—about 17 meters up on top of a mast. Most of the time, the connection works fine, but occasionally the communication breaks down. I suspect this is due to the distance.

When that happens, I have to disable and then re-enable the entire Bluetooth adapter to reconnect. It seems like the Bluetooth stack struggles to recover on its own.

To help diagnose this issue, I created a patch that adds support for logging to a file. This log lets me track exactly when the last data was received, making it easier to spot connection dropouts.

To (re-)establish the connection I'm using a simple script, which checks every minute if there is a connection and if not it tries to connect.

I finally gave up and bought an Arduino BLE which works excelent.
Very stable and ,only once, there was a cut in signal and it recovered automatically.
