It appears to be a binary file. Is a human readable form available? What is its licence? Cheers

Where are you seeing it in the repository? I can't find it.
Anyway it should be a file created during the build process

According to the f-droid repo there are some issues with upstream being "non-free", with no specifics as to which part. I wondered if this was the likely candidate.

OK then...
First of all the intermediate directory shouldn't be in the repo.
It contains files generated during the build process.
That's probably due to me using the very first versions of Android studio and it's related bugs.
Another more recent project I have here on within does not have that directory.
So there are no licensing problems there.

Secondly, the f-droid version is listed that way because it is based on a very old version that contained Google analytics.
Some guy took a snapshot from github,stripped analytics away and committed it to f-droid but then stopped maintaining it.
The f-droid version should be removed right away, the only updated repo is here on within and the only updated binary build is on Google play or Amazon.
Current version does not use analytics anymore and it's 100% free.

Right. Firstly, I assume "within" means "Github"?

The version on f-droid cites this repo as the source of the code, it was updated to version 2.3.1 (apparently the most recent soon after you tagged that release), so it appears to be maintained at the same rate as you release: https://f-droid.org/wiki/page/eu.flatworld.android.slider

As to the rest, I'm slightly confused by what you're saying. Are you able to fix the problems and convince the admins at f-droid to remove the non-free warning? I'd do so myself but it looks like all the issues are under your domain.

Yep,within means github...

Regarding my domain...i don't even have an fdroid account and i never listed my app there,someone else did after asking me if he could do that.

Anyway it seems that some sort of automatic import and build has been put in place.... I may take a look at it and see if I can take ownership of the thing....
