Summary

Updates the ENABLE_MCP_UI section of the README to accurately reflect the current state of interactive preview support.

  • MCP Apps is the primary investment — delivers self-contained HTML panels in Claude Desktop, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Goose; always active, no flag needed
  • MCP-UI is maintained for compatibility — kept for Goose and other MCP-UI clients, not being removed, but no new development planned
  • Fixes the incorrect claim that Claude Desktop "doesn't support MCP-UI and ignores the UIResource" — it renders interactive panels via MCP Apps
  • Updates client compatibility table to show Goose supports both MCP Apps and MCP-UI
  • Clarifies that ENABLE_MCP_UI / --disable-mcp-ui only controls the MCP-UI UIResource; MCP Apps is unaffected

  interactive preview investment; MCP-UI maintained for Goose compatibility

  previews — it supports MCP Apps (and has since the ext-apps integration)
