[bug]: Please respect/align to standard behaviors of browsers, eg: Shortcuts :a11y: #8663

Description

Is there an existing issue for this?

Current behavior

Please restore default platform behavior.

eg: Ctrl+F for find in page

When I press Ctrl+F to find in page, event is trapped and focus is on the search widget... I just want to find an entry on my page (a list view actually) this event reroute is really frustrating to me because I expect UX/UI will not break my platform (firefox) features.

Please align to standard behaviors of browsers, this has an impact on accessibility.

update: been told that there is a cheat code to restore original C-f behavior, user need to press it twice.

That said, I would prefer that plane keystrokes to be modals (with a prefix like F1 then C-f) and not overriding the standards behaviors.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to a task
  2. Press Ctrl+F
  3. type text
  4. press entry
  5. an other page is loaded ... this is unexpected
