Wishlist count not displayed on homepage/other pages except wishlist page in customer menu

Preconditions and environment

After Magento 2.4.8 upgrade, the wishlist item count does not appear in the customer menu dropdown on the homepage or other pages. It only displays correctly on the wishlist page itself.

Steps to reproduce

1. Log in as a customer on a Magento 2 storefront.
2. Add one or more products to the wishlist.
3. Navigate to the homepage or any non-wishlist page.
4. Click on the customer menu (Welcome, [Name]!) and observe the "My Wish List" link.

Expected result

The wishlist item count should display next to the "My Wish List" label, e.g., My Wish List (1) on all pages.

Actual result

The wishlist count shows empty parentheses on all pages except the wishlist page:

Thanks for your reporting and collaboration.

We have tried to reproduce the issue in Latest 2.4-develop instance and we are able to reproduce the issue.Kindly refer the screenshots.

The wishlist count shows empty.Hence Confirming the issue.
