Error 500 on checkout while payment is "successful"

Trying to place an order on a multi-store site and this problem only affects one store based in the US. Go through checkout as normal, and just as you hit place an order button to confirm payment -> get an error 500. According to Adyen, the payment was taken but the callback returns without a token leading to the error 500.

I've got this error:

+1 ive got this same issue on a production website, spent the last couple of days trying to fix it to no avail, this error crops up with multiple third party smtp modules, the emails still send but when it returns back to the customer they get this error, its got to be related to magento or possibly a messed up migration, perhaps eav_attributes ?

disabling third party smtp modules makes it go away but then obviously the emails get dropped because they arent signed

This issue still exit in core 2.3.3. Its not regarding any 3 party SMTP issue or any Email sender name issue.

This issue have been resolved by some one in the development branch and i got response that it will be deployed in new version in 2.3.4. It does not need change in the code the file you mention.

It has the issue with this file below is the path of file and the solution.

vendor/magento/module-sales/Model/Order/Email/SenderBuilder.php

And the function in the file should be like this.

}

Hence above is the solution.
