Story
As a Developer/Technically powerful Marketer I want to set the image renditions parameters for resizing original hi res image to the versions optimized for each breakpoint website supports so that Marketer can insert optimized for each supported touch points images into the content
Business Value
defines image renditions default behavior across websites
Preconditions
- Admin User is logged into Admin Panel
Acceptance Criteria
- User goes to Store>Configuration>Advanced >System and opens web image renditions parameters
- User can use web rendition parameters for all breakpoints or setup different parameters for each breakpoint website supports
- User selects to setup different rendition parameters for mobile
- User defines image rendition width OR height for mobile
- User defines image renditions settings globally for all websites
- User saves configuration and verifies that parameters provided are used when image is inserted into the content
Open question
breakpoint values defined on theme level and also in Page Builder. Renditions parameters can work for both?
