[[Biotransference]]'s type change ability doesn't apply to MDFC creatures like [[Boggart Trawler]] when they're in a graveyard, in a player's hand, or in a player's library (i.e., when they're a "card").
It does correctly apply to MDFC creatures when they're on the stack or the battlefield, however. I guess because they're not cards.
