Description

We have received this message from stripe:

We are writing to inform you of some changes necessary to your Stripe integration to ensure

compliance with the new European regulation. Starting September 14th, the strong customer authentication (SCA) regulation will require two-factor authentication for many payments in Europe. Payments that do not include Strong Customer Authentication could be refused. To avoid the increase of the refused charges, you will have to update your integration by September 14th.

If you charge customers when they are not actively using your application, but in the background (as in the case of a subscription, a crowdfunding campaign or a card saved for booking a trip), customers may have to authenticate when saving the payment method. To support this use case, we have implemented some updates to our APIs.

With this update, all companies will have the necessary API set to update their integration and make it compliant with the SCA. We advise you to start the update as soon as possible to have all the time necessary to test the updated integration before September.

Is this module ready for this?
