A timed-out browser command evicted the desktop automation host, but the client waited for a new WebSocket session instead of registering again. Subsequent browser tools failed with “No preview automation host” despite an open Browser panel.

Preview automation now reopens its command subscription after 250 ms when the remote stream completes or is interrupted. It never replays timed-out actions, and cancellation or session changes stop recovery. Coordinator and agent instructions now direct browsing and sign-in to each thread’s own browser. Prepares desktop version 0.0.57.

Validation: 90 focused tests passed, including timeout recovery, cancellation, stale generations and separate coordinator/agent tabs. Server and client-runtime typechecks, scoped lint and formatting passed. Independent read-only review found no defects. Installed desktop verification follows the release.

Model: GPT-6.1-Sol. Harness: Codex.
