Summary

• Compact, dismissible card above the sidebar utility menu: phone icon, "Control Plane for iPhone", "Join the TestFlight beta" link, X to dismiss.
• Link opens via readLocalApi().shell.openExternal (desktop: Electron shell.openExternal, i.e. the OS default browser; web: new tab).
• Dismissal persists as iosPromoDismissed in t3code:ui-state:v1 (uiStateStore).
• Mounted in SidebarChromeFooter (SidebarChrome.tsx), so Sidebar.tsx is untouched. Not part of the mobile app (separate package).

Blocker

IOS_TESTFLIGHT_URL in SidebarIosPromo.tsx is a placeholder (https://testflight.apple.com/join/REPLACE_ME). Do not merge until the real link is swapped in.

Not done

• Hiding when a mobile device is paired: client sessions are only fetched (owner-scoped) on the Connections settings page, so a sidebar-level check needs a new subscription. Skipped.
• No screenshots (preview host unavailable, screen capture denied).

Testing

• New uiStateStore tests (dismiss, idempotence, persist/restore). uiStateStore.test.ts passes.
• Full web suite: 3 files failed. connectCliAuth and SnapShotCoordinator are known pre-existing. fileEditorHighlight timed out under load and passes alone on both this branch and main.
• Web typecheck: no errors. Lint: no findings in touched files.
