Gravitee Setup

This repository provides a ready-to-use Docker Compose configuration to spin up the full Gravitee API Management stack, orchestrating the following services:

  • MongoDB for data storage
  • Elasticsearch for API analytics and indexing
  • Gravitee API Gateway, Management API, Management UI (Console), and Portal UI
  • Nginx as a reverse proxy, routing traffic to the Gateway

Prerequisites

  • Docker ≥ 20.10
  • Docker Compose ≥ 1.29
  • Git

Environment Configuration

  1. Copy the example .env files into the project root:

    cp env/example/*.env env
  2. Edit each .env file to adjust:

    • PORTAL_API_URL
    • MGMT_API_URL
    • Any credentials, paths, or other custom settings

Installation

  1. Clone this repository:

    git clone https://github.com/lucassm02/gravitee-setup.git
    cd gravitee-setup
  2. Ensure your .env files are configured as above.

  3. Start all services in detached mode:

    docker-compose up -d

Accessing the Services

Once the stack is up and running, you can access:

Service URL
API Gateway http://localhost:8082
Management API http://localhost:8083
Management UI (Console) http://localhost:8084
Portal UI http://localhost:8085
Nginx (Reverse Proxy) http://localhost

Contributing

  1. Open an issue to suggest improvements or report bugs.

  2. Fork the repository and create a feature branch:

    git checkout -b feature/your-feature
  3. Submit a pull request describing your changes.
