Lucas José 🇧🇷

Researcher Engineer @ Google DeepMind

Teaching computers to learn :)

About Me 🚀

I am a Computer Scientist passionate about Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning research. After graduating from École CentraleSupélec at Paris-Saclay University, France, and from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), Brazil, I will join Google DeepMind as a Research Engineer, focusing on sustainability and environmental ML solutions. My research interests span computer vision, representation learning, generative models, multimodal learning, and responsible AI. I am particularly interested in how machine learning can address real-world challenges and create meaningful impact :)

Creating Amazing Projects!

Outside of work, I love traveling to explore new countries and cultures (and languages). I'm also deeply committed to education, and I have volunteered in various countries to support those without access to learning opportunities.
