Thanks Kleis, maybe we should switch to use tagged tarballs instead? https://github.com/pnggroup/libpng/releases/tag/v1.6.50 (I just spotted the "RISC-C" typo in my commit message, which got me thinking, then searching, then discovering someone actually tried to do this back in 1990!) |

Also, try to revert commit f40ab0d (I suspect the issue was resolved in libpng 1.6.50) and revise commit df340ef accordingly.
