Bot-assisted investigation note: I checked the current Canmore/Trove URL and the direct Zoomify URL from the report.

What I found:

• https://canmore.org.uk/collection/2142637 now redirects to https://www.trove.scot/collection/2142637.
• The Trove page returns an Azure WAF JavaScript challenge to server-side fetches, so Dezoomify cannot inspect that page directly from its proxy.
• The direct URL you pasted has the right general shape for Dezoomify's existing Zoomify support (.../ImageProperties.xml), but fresh probes to zoom.rcahms.gov.uk timed out for both the metadata URL and a sample tile URL from this environment.

So I am leaving this open as new site support: the page is protected from ordinary server-side discovery, and the old direct tile host was not reachable during testing. The most practical workaround to try is still using the browser extension on the Trove page, because it can inspect URLs from inside a normal browser session after any site challenge has completed.
