Espanso "$|$" caret setter hijacks caret by ironically taking effect on visibility #61
Description
- Try to make any edit when a "$|$" is present somewhere in the currently editable text field or file
- Expected result: your text cursor should stay right there as normal for you to keep typing
- Actual result: the cursor changes to highlighting the closest next characters "$|$" upon every single edit, so that the next key you type deletes those 3 characters wherever they were in the file, completely losing your original place in the document where you were editing
Ironically, in Espanso, this set of characters positions the caret at its location after a text expansion has unfolded.
In conclusion, Expandroid currently makes editing any Espanso .YML file impossible to feasibly do if it has "$|$" instances in it, ironically. Can this behavior be blocked?
