There's a double breadcrumb (and no header and footer) if there's an access denied page set.

2. Set this at /admin/config/system/site-information
3. Mark another page as archived.
4. View this page as an anonymous user. It will look like this.

This seems to be because the localgov base theme uses its own status message templates and microsites is just a little bit different.

The page is missing a header and footer and the breadcrumb is duplicated.

I have a base theme, but this is also broken when no base theme is set on the microsite.

In localgov_microsites_base, we are printing the breadcrumbs in the node template.

In page.html.twig we have a check on the breadcrumbs region to only print the breadcrumbs if we are not on a node.

I guess the issue here is that the 403 route is not (technically) a node, it's just a node that is getting rendered inside there.

So ... to fix the breadcrumb we'd need to do some checks like:

1. Don't show the breadcrumbs if we are on the 403 route, and
2. That route renders a node rather than the default message

IMO the node template should only render things that are part of the node. If you start including other things in there, you end up having to do all kinds of workarounds when you actually just want the content from a node.

It was a decision me and @msayoung made - probably the wrong decision, in hindsight - that suited what we were doing with microsites templates. I can't remember the exact reason for it, but think it had something to do with difficulties with block placements that would suit all microsites.

I think we'll be breaking existing sites if we remove breadcrumbs from the node template and setting them via the block placement instead. I also think we should do this (and figure out how to communicate this change).
