Having looked at this, there seems little point at addressing this until, at a minimum, Group has D11 support given how heavily dependant Microsites is on it.

I have been going through adding Drupal 11 support to modules.

There's one contrib module that still doesn't have Drupal 11 support: Domain Path https://www.drupal.org/project/domain_path/issues/3429923

I now have Microsites installing locally with Drupal 11.

It should be possible to run this using the feature/4.x/76-drupal-11 branch in the profile. Will need plenty of testing.

everything has 11.x support
once we have a handle on the (failing) tests, we'll decide to do an alpha release.
will also pin to 11.1 for the time being

Discussing today in Merge Tuesday:

We think we want major version bumps for localgov_microsites, localgov_microsites_project and localgov_microsites_group to accommodate Drupal 11 releases and changes in functionality on Drupal 10.

Also we are starting to see different patches needed for D10 and D11.

@stephen-cox keen to liaise and think about this before releasing.
