Why are you requesting commit access ?

I'd like to help with the AVR backend more - I've been submitting patches for quite a while now (e.g. #106722, #118015, #85277, a couple more back in the Phabricator times), I'm also trying to push AVR more within rustc (rust-lang/rust#131651) where having commit access to LLVM would come handy e.g. for doing backports.

If providing a backing-person helps, I think @benshi001 could speak in my favor!
