Consider implementing the STAC Item Search API

It would be handy to have the STAC Item Search API implemented on this dataset to better query for GeoTIFF files that meet a user's criteria in all of the ways outlined in the above specification.

Currently when I add the dataset to QGIS via the Data Source Manager I can see this is unsupported as I receive this error.

Thanks Luke, this is on our longer-term roadmap. Our initial priority is making more data publicly accessible (e.g. there are near-infrared aerial imagery and point cloud datasets that are not available for access anywhere).

Note that stac-map has collection / item filtering options without the API implementation, which might be useful in the interim.

We also paid for the Cloud Storage connection option in QGIS for direct access to the data, but that does not help with querying.
